Libraries were a big focus this semester. In this project, we were creating "summer stations" out of cardboard and wood framing for the Columbus Metropolitan Libraries. They had to seat people and have a place to display books. The studio was split into four groups, and each had to propose a design. Two of the four were picked to build. My design, with the help of Nate Masters and Shelby Fisher, was picked to build. It referenced the old façade of the library existing in the atrium space by taking elements and modifying them to create an inhabitable object. This was installed at the central branch downtown for a number of months during the summer of 2023.

Our combined team was:

- Pelé Carney

- Shelby Fisher

- Deon Goins

- Tina Filipe

- Nate Masters

- Rachael Ricketts

- Ian Rader

Let me know if you have any projects you'd like to work on together! Not licensed yet but have worked in home remodeling and am a huge construction nerd. I would love to talk design with anyone interested in creating architecture.
